Man found dead in Niuland, woman arrested

DIMAPUR — A 38-year-old man named Khevishe Chishi was found dead in his house in Kiyezhe village, Kuhuboto, Niuland district early Tuesday morning.

Police officials confirmed that the victim had injuries to his neck, believed to have been caused by a sharp object. The incident is believed to have occurred around 3:30 a.m.

Chishi's body was taken to Dimapur District Hospital for autopsy.

Police have detained the victim's wife for questioning. The investigation is ongoing and authorities cannot release further details at this time, the official said.
