20 people: Cast of the Sport1 show “Exatlon” is set

Starting next Monday, Sport1 will be showing a new edition of its production “Exatlon” five times a week, i.e. every weekday – linearly at 8:15 p.m. The format is a sports reality show produced in the Dominican Republic by Acunmedya. 20 people will then compete against each other in two teams. Sport1 promises “challenging competitions” and “great emotions” for the three-month broadcast period. In addition to the competitions, the focus will also be on interpersonal relationships. The camp in which the candidates live will be filmed 24 hours a day.

The cast consists of a mixture of ex-athletes, reality stars and internet personalities. Among them is ex-“Bachelor” Andrej Mangold, Carina Spack, known from various dating shows, and Eric Sindermann, who has already appeared in various reality programs. Also included: boxer Christina Hammer, gymnast Kim Bui and JamooTV, who is present on TikTok.

Turabi Camkiran, Marcel Göttfert, Aneta Sablik, Nam Vo, Kathrin Kunz-Lehr, Dennis Falber, Markus Ertelt, Aycan Yanac, Luca Krüger, Maite Richert, Natalia Wisniewska, Petra Arvela, Marvin Roch and Tahnee Christin round out the line-up. “Exatlon” is hosted by Jochen Stutzky, who announces that the cast will have to push their physical and mental limits to emerge from the competition as champions.

Matthias Kirschendorfer, co-CEO of Sport1 Medien AG and Sport1 managing director, reports that “all eyes” are currently on the German launch of the format. He once again calls “Exatlon” “one of the biggest TV premieres” of the year and at the same time describes the format as the start of the strategic cooperation with Acunmedya. The company recently acquired half of Sport1 and brought the show with it from its format catalog.
