Expert bought car on Facebook Marketplace and made a shocking discovery when opening the trunk

Two auto experts who bought a car on Facebook Marketplace were shocked to discover something sinister in the trunk.

Edwin Evans and Will Chandler bought a rusty 1970s Cadillac Coupe de Ville for £2,900 on Facebook Marketplace, but while clearing out the vehicle they discovered something quite shocking in the back of the car.

The experts published a YouTube video on their channel Top Dead Center titled “We bought the worst car on Facebook Marketplace.”

While everything seemed pretty unremarkable at first, the two began to examine various parts of the car with the 8.2-liter engine and assess its condition.

“This car has the sound effects of all the movie cars: the squealing of the belt, the knocking, the doors not opening, even the sound of the doors,” Chandler said.

And when the two looked into the trunk, what they found actually looked like something out of a movie.

First of all, the trunk was stuffed full of stuff – much of it junk – including spare parts, brake fluid and a tire.

And in the back of the boot was a “bag covered in blood.”

Evans picked up the plastic bag and said, “Yuck, what is that? It's blood and dust.”

The couple didn't seem too upset and simply threw the bag aside before returning to their video.

They decide to take the rusty engine for a spin on the road – but things don’t go according to plan.

“Before we go any further, a quick reminder that you should always do a height check when purchasing a used car,” Chandler said.

Evans continued: “Hundreds of cars crash every day, most of them probably just because of that car trying to do a maneuver, but some of those crashed cars are repaired and put back on the road.”

Evans and Chandler spent some time checking the vehicle before taking it out on the road themselves.

However, it didn't take long before they encountered some problems.

“I have never been so scared in a car in my life,” Evans said.

“There’s a problem with the brakes… emergency braking just doesn’t work.”

And when the two almost pulled out in front of another driver at an intersection, they shouted: “Excuse me! My car is very long.”

On the way to the gas station, the vehicle actually breaks down in the middle of the roundabout.

Finally, after refueling and a quick trip to the garage, the car was ready for use again.

But when the couple tried to park the car, they encountered further problems since the Cadillac is 20 feet long.

“This is one of the worst experiences of my life,” Evans said.

At the end of the video, Evans and Chandler agreed that it was the worst car they had ever owned.
