Police in Oregon search for Alabama man accused of sexually abusing and torturing children

WASCO COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) – Authorities in Oregon and Alabama are searching for a man accused of sexually abusing children under the age of 12.

39-year-old Adam Renk is wanted in both Oregon and Alabama for sex crimes against underage victims.

On June 21, Oregon State Police detectives responded to a child's report of sexual abuse. The child identified Renk as the perpetrator. Renk was subsequently charged with multiple crimes against a child under the age of 12.

In Oregon, he was charged with unlawful sexual penetration, sodomy and sexual abuse.

During their investigation, OSP discovered that Renk had been charged in another case involving a child in Mobile, Alabama.

The charges in Alabama include child sexual abuse and torture involving an 11-year-old victim. The victims in the two states are not related.

Renk was last seen leaving Alabama on August 7. He has ties to Oregon and Wasco County and is believed to have traveled in a modified Ford ambulance, now painted two-tone white over gray.
