Activity Watch: An open source time tracker

This post is a small reference to the open source software Activity Watch. Activity Watch is a free time tracker for Windows, macOS, Linux and Androidthat runs in the background and tracks the time spent using each app. Users can categorize apps to see how much time they spend working, playing games, or watching videos.

There is also the option of using browser extensions to see which websites you have visited. With macOS, the screen time would only track pages that were visited with Safari. It is certainly a niche app that you don't need in your normal day-to-day life without a job, but for projects or something like that, you could easily see where the time is going.
