Harmony man charged with manslaughter in Lawrence County shooting – Butler Eagle

A Harmony man has been charged with killing a woman and wounding several others after shooting at a bar, vehicles, homes and businesses in Lawrence County on Saturday, according to state police.

Nathan J. Fink, 40, was charged with one count of manslaughter, eight counts of attempted manslaughter and recklessly endangering another person and is being held without bail in the Lawrence County Jail.

According to police, Fink got into a fight with patrons at the Breakers Pub on Portersville Road in Ellport just before 2 a.m. and left the bar after being escorted out, but returned minutes later with a gun.

In the parking lot, Fink fired a rifle and a pistol at the outside of the building. The shots struck vehicles and passed through the door, striking people inside the building, police reported.

Fink then drove west on Portersville Road and fired a gun at several homes and businesses before fleeing east, police said.

After Fink was identified as the shooter, he was arrested at 2:15 p.m. at his home on Barkley Road in Perry Township, Lawrence County, according to police.

Police said Crystal Wawryznski, 37, of Ellwood City died at the scene from gunshot wounds and her husband, Jonathan, 39, suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Joshua Lyons, 41, of Ellwood City was struck by gunfire and taken to a Pittsburgh hospital with serious injuries, Edward Martin, 35, of Beaver Falls suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and David Huzenic, 64, of Ellwood City was shot in his apartment and is in stable condition, police said.
