Ethiopia is working hard to get a win in this match after two draws. In the first round of AFCON qualification, Ethiopia held Tanzania to a goalless draw away from home. That team failed to attempt a shot on goal in this match despite eight attempts. Meanwhile, in previous encounters before this tie, Ethiopia won against Lesotho while drawing with Guinea-Bissau and Djibouti.

Democratic Republic of Congo

DR Congo will be looking to keep things going after a strong AFCON qualification campaign. In the opening match, the team scored an early goal through Edo Kayembe's 27th minute strike and that goal was enough to secure the team maximum points. Before this match, DR Congo had won two games in a row, the first against Togo ending 1-0.

Expert betting tips

This is a tricky match but I have faith in DR Congo despite the away game. There is no doubt that Ethiopia have impressed recently, especially with their strong defence. However, their lack of attacking prowess will work against them and although DR Congo should take their chance, a win for the away team looks possible.
