Maharashtra man stones minor to death after sexual assault in Jalgaon and is arrested

In a shocking incident, a 13-year-old girl was allegedly sexually abused and stoned to death by the accused in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra, police said on Monday, September 9.

According to reports, the accused entered the victim's house when she was alone and took her outside. After allegedly raping the minor girl, he stoned her to death, sources claimed. The incident took place in Chopda town of Jalgaon, police said.

Chopda city police inspector Madhukar Salve said the accused have been arrested and an investigation has been launched into the case.

“A murder case of a 13-year-old girl has come to light. We have arrested the accused. The girl was stoned to death by the accused. We are continuing to investigate,” said Salve.
