19-year-old arrested on multiple counts of child pornography in Limestone Co.

LIMESTONE CO., Alabama (WAFF) – A 19-year-old was arrested in Limestone County and charged with multiple counts of child pornography.

According to Limestone County Jail records, Jesse Dauwen was arrested Friday and charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography with intent to distribute.

According to records, Dauwen was also charged with 10 additional counts of electronic contact with a child, as well as one count each of child abuse and animal cruelty.

WAFF 48 received tips that federal agents were on site at Dauwen's residence Friday morning.

FBI officials said they have conducted authorized law enforcement actions and will now refer all questions to Limestone County officials.
