'Exposes dirt, corruption and dictatorial attitude': BJP reacts to Jawhar Sircar's letter to PM Mamata Banerjee | India News

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the Trinamool Congress (TMC), claiming that a letter written by TMC MP Jawhar Sircar to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee revealed that “TMC means too much corruption”.

BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla posted a video on microblogging site X, claiming that Sircar's letter revealed that every institution in West Bengal under the Mamata Banerjee government was “corrupted by corruption”.

“The letter from TMC MP Jawhar Sircar exposes dirt, corruption and dictatorial attitude within the TMC. TMC means 'too much corruption',” he said in a shared video.

The letter from Jawahar Sircar according to statements by Sukhendu Shekhar and Shantanu Sen reflects the following

1) TMC stands for “Too Much Corruption”
Every institution has been undermined by the corruption of the Mamta government
