Teenager arrested for murder in Saharsa: Hidden criminal caught in Delhi

Delhi Police have arrested a 22-year-old youth named Mukesh Kumar for the alleged murder of Mukesh Saha in Bihar's Saharsa. Kumar was found from his hideout in Chandni Chowk, officials said on Sunday.

Mukesh Kumar is accused of slitting Saha's throat on May 25 because Saha was allegedly having an affair with Kumar's cousin's sister, authorities confirmed. Ramanand, one of Kumar's accomplices, is already in the custody of Bihar police.

The arrest was made on the basis of a tip-off on September 5, which led to a raid in Chandni Chowk, where Kumar was caught and questioned. Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Manoj Kumar Meena said that during interrogation, Kumar confessed to the murder, which he committed along with his associates Ramanand, Rajhul and Chandan on their way to a wedding.
