Hasn't Watson already had his downfall? A fair question. 2020 was the best quarterback season in the history of the Houston Texans, and two years later he was traded to Cleveland and given a fully guaranteed five-year contract worth $230 million. Not even the allegations of sexual harassment made by over 20 (!) massage therapists seemed to have any effect on him.

Two years later, his skills as a quarterback seem to have more or less disappeared: Watson, now 28, can no longer impress with his arm or his head and can only occasionally impress with his legs. In addition, he kept getting injured.

In fact, the Browns were better last year with Joe Flacco, who was brought in from the couch, than with Watson. He is set to start again, and the team still owes him a lot of money. But this will likely be the decisive season for him in Cleveland: If he can't convince, the front office can't afford to drag him around any longer – the rest of the team is simply too good for that.
