According to a police spokesman, officers were called to the Hotel Johannishof in Rödermark (Offenbach district) at around 2 a.m. It was reported that a man had been seriously injured with a knife.

As it turned out on site, the attack was preceded by an argument over disturbing noise in which at least two 33-year-old men were involved.

As the argument continued, one of the two 33-year-olds is said to have stabbed his opponent in the upper body before fleeing when the police arrived.
