BVB farewell game for Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski: Dortmund football nostalgia

The sad news overshadowed a memorable afternoon with a lot of BVB celebrities. The return of Jürgen Klopp, who became a legend at Liverpool FC (where they are also currently mourning a death) after leaving Dortmund, was one of the big highlights. Klopp took a seat on the coach's bench and commented afterwards in his usual moody manner: “We had a lot of overweight in defense, midfield and attack today.”

In addition to Klopp, who was just visiting a festival in Bavaria, many former BVB stars such as Roman Weidenfeller, Dede, Patrick Owomoyela, Nelson Valdez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were seen on the pitch. They all came to give Piszczek and Blaszczykowski a farewell that cost a fortune.
