13-year-old injured in nighttime shooting, suspects still at large

LANSING, Michigan (WILX) – A 13-year-old boy is in the hospital after being shot late Saturday night.

Police told News 10 they responded to a 911 call at the intersection of Ingham Street and Risdale Ave. around 10 p.m.

Police said when they arrived at the scene, they found a 13-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound. The 13-year-old was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses at the scene told police that the suspects involved in the shooting left the scene in a white sedan and are still at large.

Police told News 10 the investigation is ongoing and asked anyone with information to contact Lansing police.
