Shots fired at Applebees in Columbia early Sunday morning

COLUMBIA, Missouri (KMIZ)

According to Sergeant Chris Hobbs of the Columbia Police Department, shots were fired at the Applebees at 2601 E. Broadway in Columbia early Sunday morning.

Hobbs told ABC 17 News on scene that there was one, possibly two victims.

ABC 17 News crews arrived on scene around 12:40 a.m. and saw five Columbia Police Department patrol cars, an ambulance and a MU Health Care vehicle.

ABC 17 News saw a person in the ambulance and police officers searching the restaurant and the surrounding area.

The accident site was cleared by 1:15 a.m.
