2 teenagers stabbed at the oyster festival in Norwalk; arrest made

According to Norwalk police, two teenagers were stabbed at the Norwalk Oyster Festival on Friday.

A police news release said officers “observed a disturbance” near Fort Point Street and Seaview Avenue, where the two were found.

According to police, a “male juvenile was arrested at the scene” and charged with two counts of assault.

The suspect is being held at the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center pending arraignment.

The police assume that this was not a random incident and that the suspect and the victim knew each other.

They ask the public with information about the stabbing to call the Detective Bureau at 203-854-3111.
