Krispy Kreme celebrates Barbie's 65th birthday with 4 limited edition donuts

To celebrate Barbie's 65th birthday, Krispy Kreme has released four new doughnuts for a limited time.

The doughnut chain has four new doughnuts on sale starting Tuesday that Mattel says feature “unique designs and amazing flavors inspired by Barbie.”

The limited edition donuts, called Barbie x Krispy Kreme Collection, are packaged in a special pink box and include the following four donuts:

• Barbie Pink Donut — an Original Glazed Doughnut, decorated with pink buttercream, sprinkled with glittery pink sugar and garnished with Barbie sunglasses
• Malibu Dream Party Donut — an unglazed doughnut filled with Cake Batter Kreme, dipped in Malibu blue glaze and glittery Graham Sand, topped with a Barbie DreamHouse piece and decorated with a white cloud
• Barbie Berry Cream Donut — an unglazed donut with strawberry cream filling, dipped in white glaze, drizzled with purple and pink buttercream and garnished with a Barbie heart
• Barbie Sweet Donut for the 65th — an Original Glazed Doughnut, dipped in chocolate glaze and garnished with Barbie Sweet 65th sprinkles

Krispy Kreme is not only releasing special doughnuts to mark the anniversary.

The donut shop is also giving away a select number of Barbie Fashionista dolls with Krispy Kreme accessories and a denim jacket.

Here's how you can enter the raffle for one of these dolls:

• From September 4-6, any fan who comments on the “Barbie x Krispy Kreme” social contest post on Krispy Kreme’s social channels – @krispykreme on Instagram – and tags a friend will be entered into a separate sweepstakes for a chance to win.

• From September 6-8, Krispy Kreme Rewards members who purchase a dozen Barbie x Krispy Kreme at participating Krispy Kreme stores and scan their Krispy Kreme Rewards app at checkout will automatically be entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win. Krispy Kreme Rewards members can also enter without making a purchase.

Additionally, all customers wearing pink who visit an eligible Krispy Kreme location on September 7 can receive a free Original Glazed Doughnut.

This offer is limited to one donut per customer in store.
