Judoka Daniel Goral failed early at the Paralympic Games in Paris. The 24-year-old lost his opening fight in the J2 class up to 90 kilograms by Ippon against the Uzbek Dawurchon Karomatow and then also missed his chance for bronze in the repechage round by losing to Simone Cannizaro from Italy.

Disappointment at first despite leadership

Here too, he lost with an Ippon after initially taking the lead with a Waza-ari. This means that the German judoka will remain with Lennart Sass's bronze medal in Paris. The team did not collect any medals in Tokyo.
