Shortly after filming began, those responsible announced the hiring of three additional actors.

AMC Networks announces Spanish cast for third season of “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” which is currently filming in Spain. Eduardo Noriega (“Vantage Point”), Óscar Jaenada (“Hernán”) and Alexandra Masangkay (“The Platform”) will join the cast as regular actors, in addition to Candela Saitta (“Máxima”) and Hugo Arbués (“Through My Window”), among others, who will appear in recurring roles.

Production on the third season is taking place in Madrid, with extensive location filming planned in the regions of Galicia, Aragon, Catalonia and Valencia, each offering a new and unique setting for the post-apocalyptic world. Production has begun just ahead of the highly anticipated premiere of the series' second season on October 4 in Spain and September 29 in the US on AMC and AMC+.

In the third season, we follow Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier on their journey to somehow return home and their loved ones. As they struggle to find their way back, the path leads them further and further astray, through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions, while witnessing the various effects of the Walker apocalypse.

The third season, which will premiere in 2025, is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunner David Zabel, Reedus, McBride, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, Jason Richman, Dan Percival and Steve Squillante. Silvia Aráez and Jesús de la Vega of Ánima Stillking join as executive producers this season. Peregrinos SP24 is providing Spanish production services for the third season.
