Gaza – Day 337 of Israeli attack: At least 10 dead, 50 injured before dawn |

On Saturday, September 7, 2024, the 337th day of Israel's brutal, nearly eleven-month-long attack on the entire population of the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces continued their bombardment of civilian areas and the forcible displacement of two million Palestinians.

A correspondent for the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that a rocket attack targeted a home belonging to the Awadallah family in the Al-Gharbawi building in the Al-Nasr neighborhood in northern Gaza City, killing one girl and sending several injured people to the city's Baptist Hospital. The Baptist Hospital is barely functional after repeated Israeli airstrikes damaged most of it.

In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli airstrikes targeted an apartment in the Bureij refugee camp. According to Palestinian Red Crescent medics, four people were killed and ten others were injured, including children. The injured were taken to Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat refugee camp for further treatment.

Two civilians were killed and others, including children, injured in the Israeli attack on the northern and central Gaza Strip on Saturday morning.

Medical sources reported that two civilians were killed and others injured in the Israeli occupation force's bombing of a residential building in Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, 33 injured people were taken to hospitals after the Israeli occupation forces shelled the Beit Lahia area in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation force's Apache helicopter has been firing intensively on the Zeitoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City throughout the morning. Meanwhile, artillery shelling has resumed east of the Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Israeli occupation forces' artillery targeted the area around the municipal stadium in the Mufti Land area, northeast of Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression against the Gaza Strip by land, sea and air since October 7, 2023, killing at least 40,800 citizens, most of them women and children, and injuring 94,224 others. However, the total number of casualties is not yet complete, as thousands are still lying under the rubble and on the streets, inaccessible to ambulances and rescue workers.

Among the Palestinians killed are at least 16,589 children, 11,207 women, 182 journalists and 23 rescue workers, 885 medical personnel, 82 civil defense workers and 203 UNRWA staff.

Most experts estimate that the death toll is much higher – and could be as high as 200,000 if one takes into account both direct and indirect deaths related to the Israeli war on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, when 1,100 Israelis, including 700 civilians, were killed in Israel. Since October 7, around 500 Israeli soldiers have been killed – both in Gaza and on Israel's border with Lebanon.
