Wendy's is reportedly adding Krabby Patty burgers to its menu next month

ATLANTA – Well, it looks like Mr. Krabs is cashing in and selling his secret Krabby Patty recipe to Wendy's! The fast food chain is reportedly launching its own Krabby Patty burger.

According to a leaked memo on Reddit, the patties will be released to the public next month on October 8, just in time to celebrate the 25th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants.

The sandwich is described as a premium cheeseburger made from Wendy's fresh, never frozen beef, topped with fresh produce and a secret Krabby Patty sauce.

As part of the meal, Wendy's will also introduce a “Pineapple Under the Sea” Frosty, made with a combination of Wendy's signature vanilla Frosty and pineapple-mango puree.

“In honor of SpongeBob's hometown, this Frosty is made with our signature Vanilla Frosty blended with pineapple-mango puree, offering fans of all ages a unique dessert experience,” the memo said.

According to the New York Post, Wendy's said, “While we can't confirm what innovations are coming to Wendy's, we can share that we're always striving to offer our fans new menu items inspired by their cravings.”
