Man hospitalized after stabbing at bus stop in West Little River

MIAMI DADE COUNTY, Florida. – Miami-Dade police are investigating a stabbing that left a man injured in the West Little River area of ​​the county Friday afternoon.

An argument between two men at a bus stop near the intersection of Northwest 27th Avenue and Northwest 79th Street escalated into a fight in which one man suffered a stab wound to the stomach, according to police.

Police said the man, whose identity was not publicly released, was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition but was not cooperating with the investigation.

Police have not released the age or identity of the suspect or victim, and the motive for the stabbing is unclear at this time.

A Local 10 News crew was on scene and detectives combed the area and interviewed anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
