One hospitalized, another arrested after suspected stabbing in Tiltonsville

One person was hospitalized following an alleged stabbing in Tiltonsville Thursday evening.

According to Jefferson County Sheriff Fred Abdalla Jr., a 911 call came in around 8 p.m. about an incident at the Marathon gas station on the corner of Farm Lane and Walden Avenue.

“We received a call about an incident that occurred down here at the Tiltonsville Marathon,” Abdalla said. “We are currently investigating it. It ended in what we are currently considering to be a suspected stabbing. That's all I can say.”

When our team arrived, several police officers and rescue workers were on site.

According to Abdalla, this is currently a suspected stabbing, but the incident is currently being investigated.

Two people were involved in the incident, including one in hospital whose condition is stable. The second person is currently being held for questioning.

Multiple law enforcement officials responded to the scene, including the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Tiltonsville Police, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, Wells Township Police and Brilliant EMS.
