Grover Beach teenager arrested for stabbing

A 16-year-old was arrested in Grover Beach on Thursday night after stabbing an adult man in the chest, officials say.

Shortly after 8 p.m., Grover Beach police officers responded to a report that an adult man had been stabbed with a knife.

The incident occurred in a residential building in the 1200 block of Manhattan Avenue.

Police determined that the teenager had an argument with the victim before stabbing him once in the chest, causing significant injuries.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is now in stable condition, authorities say.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the San Luis Obispo County Juvenile Detention Center where he was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Officers also discovered that a family member of the suspect was involved in an argument with the victim and was subsequently arrested for assault.

The family member was 34-year-old Kelsey Shea Noll, who was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on Thursday evening.

According to GBPD, during the investigation, a neighbor of the juvenile suspect was arrested for hindering the officer's investigation.

The neighbor was identified as 26-year-old Alexandra Ashley Moore.

EDITOR'S NOTE: According to initial reports from GBPD, a 34-year-old family member of the suspect, Kelsey Shea Noll, was arrested for hindering the police investigation.

According to recent reports, the suspected teenager's neighbor, Alexandra Ashley Moore, was arrested on these charges instead.

Noll was arrested for assaulting the victim.
