Two people were injured in an accident involving a carriage in Breitbrunn am Chiemsee. They had lost control of the vehicle.

Rescue helicopter in action

The two of them had been travelling in a carriage pulled by a horse. As the horse galloped towards the town centre, the two lost control of the carriage at an intersection, police said.

The two victims, a man and a woman, were thrown from the carriage, police said. A 56-year-old man was taken to hospital by rescue helicopter with serious injuries. A 64-year-old from Oberschleißheim suffered minor injuries.
