Funeral of Clark County student who was struck and killed by a school bus on Friday

WINCHESTER, Kentucky (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The funeral is scheduled for Friday for 15-year-old McKenna Letcher, a George Rogers Clark High School student who died in a tragic accident when she was hit by a school bus.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. in the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel of the Scobee Funeral Home. According to the Clark County Coroner, McKenna died Tuesday morning after being struck by a bus on Veterans Memorial Parkway, near the intersection with Ironworks Road.

McKenna was a freshman at George Rogers Clark High School and her death has deeply shocked the local community. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
