The pay-TV channel HBO is canceling the show after the fourth season.

The television channel HBO ended the drag show «We are here». The show premiered on April 23, 2020 and documented drag queens traveling across the United States to recruit small-town residents to participate in one-off drag shows.

“Although the current season of our show has come to an end, 'We're Here's' message of love and acceptance has already made a lasting impression on 2SLGBTQIA+ people across the country,” series co-creators Johnnie Ingram and Stephen Warren said in a statement Friday morning. “The making of 'We're Here' was a dream come true and our hearts are overflowing with love. We are grateful to HBO for giving us this opportunity, to our fierce drag moms and the drag community, to our production team at IPC, and to all those who shared their hearts and stories with us.”

“We are proud to leave behind four Peabody, Critics Choice, GLAAD and Television Academy Award-winning seasons that are highly entertaining and insightful and offer hope to anyone struggling to live their truth,” they said.
