Born in Los Angeles in 1986, Emily Armstrong founded the rock band Dead Sara with Siouxsie Medley. The group has existed since 2002 and last released a single in 2021. Dead Sara toured with Demi Lovato and acted as a supporting act for Muse.

Not much is known about the private life of the new singer – with the exception their reputation among their colleaguesLinkin Park isn't the only one who has an eye on the musician. Courtney Love brought Armstrong in to record backing vocals for the Hole album “Nobody's Daughter”. She has also worked with Awolnation, The Offspring and many others.

Announcement receives praise and criticism from fans

The news of a new front woman for Linkin Park has not only been met with goodwill. While some fans doubt Armstrong's talent, others see no comparison or replacement for Chester Bennington's voice.
