One dead and dozens injured in Russian attacks on Ukrainian Pavlograd

Kyiv: Russian attacks in the Ukrainian central city Pavlograd On Friday, one person was killed and more than 50 others were injured, including three children, authorities said.
Russia has its Air strikes To Ukraine since Kyiv launched an unprecedented cross-border offensive in Russia's Kursk region last month.
Five Iskander ballistic missiles were fired from Russian territory towards Pavlograd in the centre Dnipropetrovsk regionsaid the Ukrainian Air Force.
One person died and 55 others were injured, the Interior Ministry said.
The attack led to “several fires in the city,” including in an apartment in a high-rise building, said regional governor Sergiy Lysak.
He added that among the injured were a nine-year-old girl and two boys aged 11 and four.
Russia regularly visits Pavlograd, home to a Chemical plant that produces explosives.
The city is located about 100 kilometers from the heavy fighting in the neighboring Donetsk region as Russian forces advance there.
Before the Russian invasion in February 2022, the city had about 100,000 inhabitants.
Images of the attack shared by the Interior Ministry showed a badly damaged residential building from which rescue workers were busy evacuating residents.
Thick, black smoke was pouring out of several windows with shattered glass panes, and branches were scattered on the ground in front of the building.
Earlier this week, seven people died on Wednesday when Russia attacked the city of Lviv in western Ukraine.
On Tuesday, a Russian attack on a military training ground in the central Russian city of Poltava killed 55 people, making it one of the deadliest single attacks of the invasion.
