To clear the instalments of their bikes, robbers in Madhya Pradesh carry out a daring ‘robbery’ on a bus carrying 20 people | Bhopal News

BHOPAL: In a desperate attempt to pay off their mounting debts, Chhatarpur District, Madhya Pradeshstaged a daring robbery on a passenger bus on Friday morning.
The incident occurred near the Kootne Dam in Rajnagar police Railway station area around 7:15 am when the bus with 20 passengers was leaving from Lavkush Nagar to Satna.
The robbers fight with financial pressureplanned the robbery to EMI on one of their motorcycles and to get another motorcycle that was delivered to a local Moneylender.
Disguised as passengers, the two stopped the bus. The driver, Kishori Kushwaha, stopped because he thought they needed a lift. As they boarded, one of the men pulled out a gun and fired three shots in the air, terrifying the passengers.
The robbers targeted the women sitting in the front and violently snatched their jewelry, cash and mobile phones.
A passenger recalled that her mangalsutra, her daughter's gold chain and Rs 20,000 that she had set aside for her daughter's medical treatment were taken away.
Another passenger reported that the miscreants even snatched 50 rupees from a child's hand. After 15 minutes of chaos, the robbers fled on foot, leaving their Platina motorcycle nearby.
The shocked passengers, including conductor Sameer Ali, immediately reported the incident to the police, providing details of the stolen items and the registration number of the bicycle.
A witness described the robbers: one was wearing a black shirt, the other a grey one, and their faces were covered with gamchhas.
In a swift response, a police team led by DIG Lalit Sahakyawar, SP Agam Jain and CSP Dr. Salil Sharma launched an investigation.
With important clues, authorities were able to track down and arrest the robbers within three hours of the crime. They are being questioned to find out more details.
