A Washington history professor has been predicting the winner of the next presidential election (mostly) correctly for years. Now, shortly before the televised debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, Allan Lichtman has updated his forecast.

You have to give him credit: Allan Lichtman, 77 years old and history professor at the American University in Washington, is still a good salesman. The veteran political observer recently portrayed himself as a long-distance runner for the New York Times, giving his latest prediction for the outcome of the race for the White House.
