HARRY POTTER AND THE WOUNDED CHILD launches the Golden Snitch Lottery in Chicago

Broadway In Chicago will launch the digital Golden Snitch Lottery for the upcoming engagement of HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD.

For the Tuesday, September 10th performance, the Golden Snitch Digital Lottery opens at 9:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, September 5th and closes at 5:00 p.m. CT on Monday, September 9th.

For subsequent performances, the Golden Snitch Digital Lottery opens at 9:00 a.m. CT and closes at 5:00 p.m. CT the day before the desired performance.

Each winner may purchase up to two (2) tickets at $40 each. Anyone interested in participating in the lottery can do so here.

HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE

A minimum of ten (10) tickets may be purchased for each performance at a price of $40 each.

Notifications of winners and non-winners will be sent via email within one (1) hour after the lottery closes at 5:00 p.m. local time the day before the requested performance date.

Winners will have one (1) hour to request and pay for the number of tickets indicated in their winner notification.

No purchase or payment is necessary to participate, and a purchase does not increase your chances of winning.
The chances of winning depend on the number of valid entries in the digital lottery.

Only one (1) entry per person is permitted. Repeat entries and disposable email addresses will be discarded.
$40 tickets must be picked up at the box office with a valid photo ID starting two (2) hours prior to the show.

$40 tickets will become invalid if resold.

ADDITIONAL RULES

Entrants must be at least 18 years old and enter the digital lottery from outside of Illinois, from a state that allows the conduct of a digital lottery, and must present a valid, unexpired photo ID that matches the name used to enter. $40 tickets are non-transferable. $40 ticket limits and prices displayed are at the sole discretion of the show and are subject to change without notice.

The $40 ticket price does not apply to previous purchases. The $40 ticket offer cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion. All $40 ticket sales are final – no refunds or exchanges are possible.

A $5.00 processing fee will be added to the price of each ticket at checkout.

The digital lottery can be revoked or changed at any time and without notice.

The Digital Lottery is conducted pursuant to the Illinois Prizes and Gifts Act, 815 Ill. Comp. Stat. 525/1 et seq., and is void where otherwise prohibited by law, or where the Digital Lottery sponsor would be required to conduct registration or would be otherwise restricted, or where the Digital Lottery sponsor may not have yet completed registration or other requirements. Previews for the six-time Tony Award-winning production of HARRY POTTER AND THE WOUNDED CHILD begin September 10 at the James M. Nederlander Theatre on Broadway in Chicago. The official opening night will be Thursday, September 26. The final performance of the 21-week engagement will be Saturday, February 1, 2025.
