Man arrested for assaulting nine schoolgirls in Gujranwala – Crime

GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Police have arrested a suspect for sexually assaulting nine girls of a public school in Sadar district, Dunya News reported here on Thursday.

Sadar police claimed that the suspect in custody, named Imran, confessed to attacking nine students of a public school in Sadar district, where his wife is also a teacher.

According to police, the victims are between 11 and 14 years old. The suspect had explicit videos of the victims on his cellphone, which were sent to a forensic lab.

The accused had abused the girls for years, but out of fear and intimidation the girls did not tell anyone about the attacks.

On Wednesday, a girl told her parents about the attack. Her parents contacted the police and told them everything their girl had told them.

Based on her complaint, the police arrested the suspect, who confessed to his heinous crime during the course of the investigation.

Five cases were brought against the accused. The medical reports of five girls confirmed that they had been sexually abused.

Police suspect that the number of victims could be even higher. The school was closed after the incident.

As part of the SSP investigation, a team was formed to investigate the case and ensure strict punishment of the perpetrator.

The police have decided to involve the accused's wife in the investigation.
