Madman who randomly punched people in a New York mall is stabbed to death by his victim: “I hit the wrong person”

A crazed woman who went on a fight at a Brooklyn mall on Wednesday was stabbed in the back by one of her victims, police said.

According to police, the 40-year-old was attacking customers at the Atlantic Terminal Mall near the Barclays Center when she was stabbed by a woman who had beaten her around 1 p.m.

“Apparently she hit the wrong person,” joked a police source.

Photos obtained by the Post show the injured woman, who sources said was emotionally disturbed, being loaded into an ambulance after the stabbing.

She was taken by paramedics to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

The suspected stabber fled north on Flatbush Avenue and has not yet been caught, police said.
