Conduent modernizes the government benefit payment system for recipients from American Samoa

Conduent Incorporated (Nasdaq: CNDT), a global technology-enabled business solutions and services company, has been selected by the American Samoa Department of Human and Social Services (DHSS) to modernize and transform the U.S. territory's existing American Samoa Nutrition Assistance Program (ASNAP) system.

Starting in 2024, nearly 5,000 vulnerable, elderly, blind, or disabled people in American Samoa will receive ASNAP benefits from the government. These benefits provide vital food assistance to supplement their nutritional needs. With Conduent's support, ASNAP recipients will be able to receive their benefits through more secure Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards.
