Purani Dilli 6 bowler Prince Yadav ‘excited’ about Delhi Premier League semi-final

New Delhi [India]September 5 (ANI): Purani Dilli 6-bowler Prince Yadav, who played a key role in the team's win earlier this week, is looking forward to leading the bowling attack in the semifinals of the ongoing Delhi Premier League (DPL) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Purani Dilli 6 reached the semifinals of the league on Monday after defeating Central Delhi Kings by 33 runs. Prince Yadav was the best bowler for Purani Dilli 6 as he took three wickets including the wicket of Central Delhi Kings captain Jonty Sidhu.

Prince, who was named the match's most economical bowler, said he knew what he wanted to do on the field as he had been in such situations many times before.

“It was not difficult because I always practiced a lot of bowling in the rope. I always bowled difficult overs for my team. I remembered to give 100 percent because we had to win the game so that we do not have to depend on other teams to qualify,” Prince was quoted as saying in a DPL press release.

Purani Dilli 6 made a comeback in the Delhi Premier League with two consecutive wins. It was the first time that Purani Dilli 6 won two matches in a row and it helped them to a comfortable place in the semifinals.

“We have had good support from our owner and our support staff, even the coaches have helped us. Everyone has created a very relaxed and easy-going atmosphere, which has helped us grow as players. I am really looking forward to the semi-finals and even more to winning the game,” he added.

Purani Dilli 6 will now enter the semi-finals of the Delhi Premier League, which begins from Friday here at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
