In the Metronom to Lüneburg: Man pulls pepper spray | NDR.de – News – Lower Saxony

A 58-year-old man is said to have injured a train conductor in the Metronom with pepper spray. According to the police, the incident on Wednesday morning occurred after the passenger was unable to show a ticket for his bicycle. The train conductor prevented the man from getting off the train at the platform in Lüneburg – whereupon he pulled out the pepper spray and sprayed it in the conductor's face. The train conductor reportedly suffered skin irritation and severe redness of the eyes. According to the police, a seven-year-old boy who was standing near the incident complained of burning eyes and a cough. The officers confiscated the spray and initiated an investigation into grievous bodily harm.
