Unknown person steals turtle from garden near Landshut and throws it in driveway

During the night of Tuesday, an unknown person stole a turtle from a garden in Pfeffenhausen (Landshut district). They threw the animal into the yard entrance.

At around three o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, the owners were woken up by a loud noise. According to the police, the noise was caused by an unknown perpetrator who had previously stolen the turtle from the owners' garden. The owners quickly took care of the injured turtle, which the perpetrator had thrown into the driveway.

An investigation has now been launched into a violation of the Animal Welfare Act and trespassing. The police are asking witnesses to call 08781/94140.
