6-year-old girl sexually abused by worker on school premises in Noida: Police

A six-year-old girl was allegedly sexually abused by a worker at a private school here in Uttar Pradesh, police said on Wednesday.

Inspector-in-charge of Sector 24 police station Dhruv Bhushan Dubey said the incident took place on Tuesday morning.

According to police, the girl's family members claimed that she was sexually abused by the worker while she was playing on the school premises.

The girl told her teachers about it and the school principal was also informed. But the school administration tried to suppress the matter, it is said.

The police announced that a manhunt had been launched to arrest the accused.
