NYPD: 25-year-old man charged after wife stabbed to death at Queens spa

A Queens man faces multiple charges after allegedly stabbing his wife to death at a Queens spa on Tuesday, police said.

Jihai Ma, 25, was arrested at the scene and charged with murder, threats, illegal possession of weapons and harassment after police accused him of murdering his wife Jui Mei Tang, 26.

According to police, officers responded to a call about a robbery at the Spring Garden Spa on Kissena Boulevard, near Barclay Avenue in Flushing, around 5:40 p.m.

Officers discovered the victim with numerous stab wounds to his body and neck and then took him by ambulance to New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he later died, police said.

Police said the motive was not yet known and investigations were still ongoing.
