Lady Gaga’s extravagant look attracts attention

Lady Gaga (38) made a sensational appearance at the premiere of “Joker: Folie à Deux” at the Venice Film Festival. The musician and actress appeared at the event with her co-star Joaquin Phoenix (49), director Todd Phillips (53), her lover Michael Polansky (46) and, of course, a special outfit.

Her all-black dress consisted of a low-cut velvet top and a voluminous long skirt that billowed dramatically around her legs. The highlight of her outfit, however, was her headpiece: a lace sculpture that covered her eyes and formed surreal horns with two more points on the top of her head. Very extravagant, very Lady Gaga.

Extravagant headdress, red lips, sparkling diamonds

To avoid stealing the show from the headpiece, Gaga's blonde hair was tied into a classic, strong bun at the back of her head. Her make-up was dominated by her dark red lips. She didn't let herself be stumped when it came to jewelry either: large diamond earrings, a pearl necklace with a pendant and her huge engagement ring sparkled.

In the sequel to 2019's Joker, Gaga takes on the role of Harley Quinn. Although this character has been played by many actresses, Gaga told Access Hollywood on the red carpet: “My version of Harley is mine and it is very authentic to this film and these characters.” The film, which is set out as a musical, is, according to Gaga, “really something you have to experience in the cinema.”
