Appeal after attack outside Sainsbury's on Foss Bank in York

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information about an attack in York city centre.

It happened on Tuesday 27 August 2024 at around 3.30pm outside Sainsbury's at Foss Bank in York.

The victim suffered injuries to the head and neck.

The police are asking for information about the suspect, who is described as about 70 years old, tall, with short grey hair and glasses.

He was probably wearing a blue or turquoise t-shirt and possibly shorts.
