Dancing With the Stars Cast: Season 33 Celeb Pro Partners

What happens when four athletes, an ex-convict and a couple of reality stars walk into a ballroom? Viewers will find out on Season 33 of Dancing With the Stars!

The pairs of professional dancers and celebrities competing in the new season were introduced on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday morning.

A day before the cast announcement, GLAAD announced that former troupe member Ezra Sosa had been promoted to pro for season 33—the first Latin dance pro in several years. He first joined the series in 2021 and it changed his professional and personal life.

“When I first went on the show, I had a strong feeling of imposter syndrome because I wasn't out at the time… and it wasn't until this year that I realized the power, the power of being fruity and the power of just really being yourself,” he said. “When I first went on the show, it was the first time I was in an environment where I felt truly accepted. It's very much shaped me into the person I am today.”

He also said that JoJo Siwa gave him the courage to come out after they met at a competition.

This season, he will team up with one of the group's more controversial celebrities, Anna Delvey, who is best known for serving time in prison for fraud – a story that was brought to life in 2022 with the Netflix miniseries “Inventing Anna.”

The couples will be judged by the returning panel of ballroom dancing experts, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro return as hosts.

Season 33 premieres Tuesday, September 17, on ABC and Disney+ and is available to stream on Hulu the next day. Dancing with the Stars is produced by BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions.
