Harris campaigns in New Hampshire; Trump holds town hall meeting in Pennsylvania

Half of Gen Z voters plan to vote for Harris in November, a third for Trump, a wider gap than in some other polls this year but not quite reaching 2020 levels for the party, according to a new survey of registered voters under 30.

The results of NBC News' Stay Tuned Gen Z poll, conducted by SurveyMonkey, come at a time when young voters in 2024 are grappling with new economic and cultural challenges, including rising costs and concerns about debt that are causing delays in some major life events.

Another 10 percent of survey participants said they did not intend to vote in the presidential election.
