Teacher arrested for third time for transsexuality

DUBLIN, Ireland – Enoch Burke, a transgender bully teacher, has been arrested for the third time after ignoring a court order to stay away from the school from which he was fired last year.

Since the start of the new school year late last month, Mr Burke has been attending Wilson's Hospital School in Multyfarnham, Co-Westmeath, every day.

Garda arrested Mr Burke on Monday after a judge ordered him to appear before the High Court for breaching an injunction to stay away from school.

He was now re-sentenced to Mountjoy Prison, where he spent almost 400 days awaiting pardon for his contempt.

Mr. Burke was initially suspended from school in the summer of 2022 after objecting to being asked to address a transitioning student by a new name and the pronoun “she,” which he said violated his religious beliefs.

He was dismissed from the school in January 2023, but has filed an appeal and will continue to receive his full salary pending the hearing.

In an interview with the press last week, Burke stubbornly insisted he would continue to come because “this is where I work.” He did admit, however, that he hated his time in Mountjoy Prison.

When asked about his experiences in prison, he replied: “I despise prison. It is a horrible, miserable place. It is horrible to be stuck behind a door for 18 hours a day.”

“But the problem is that prison is intended for people who disregard the law, and in this situation I am fulfilling my moral obligation,” he said.

“This is where I should be today. I am standing up for my rights and what I believe in. This is not a crime. Being here is not a violation. It is my moral duty to be here.”

“It would be immoral for me to accept for a single moment that I do not have God-given rights, including the right to my own opinion, which everyone in this country has,” Burke said.

“It's about transgenderism. It's about a belief.”

“I have a right to my religious beliefs, but the principal told me I'm not allowed to have them anymore. That's all it's about,” he said.
