Mangaluru: Auto rickshaw driver dies of heart attack in queue

Mangalore, September 4: A tragic incident occurred at the auto-rickshaw parking lot of Mangaluru Central Railway Station on Tuesday when an auto-rickshaw driver collapsed and died of a heart attack while waiting in the queue.

The deceased is identified as Iqbal (47), a native of Bajal Vidya Nagar. He was currently residing in a rented house at Borugudde in Adyar Kannur.

According to reports, Iqbal felt chest pain while waiting in line at the autorickshaw park. Other drivers immediately rushed him to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.

He leaves behind his wife, three children and a large extended family.
