Ameresco Sunel Energy SA has successfully commenced commercial operation of Cero Generation's 100 MWp Delfini project in Prosotsani, Drama Page 1

Ameresco Sunel Energy SA announced today that Delfini, a 100 MWp solar photovoltaic project in Greece, has started commercial operations. Ameresco Sunel Energy SA, a joint venture established in Greece between Sunel Group and Ameresco, Inc., has been selected by Cero Generation, a leading European solar energy developer, to provide the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the solar project.

The Delfini project is based on a long-term private power purchase agreement (PPA) with Axpo Solutions AG, making it the first project of its kind in the country where Greek state subsidies are not included in the electricity costs. Delfini is also the first renewable energy project in Greece to benefit from the EU's Next Generation Recovery and Resilience Facility.
