Four people stabbed in brawl at Margaret T. Hance Park in Phoenix

PHOENIX – Phoenix police are investigating a stabbing attack with multiple victims near the Burton Barr Central Library.

The incident occurred after 4 a.m. Tuesday near Central Avenue and McDowell Road.

According to police, about seven adults were involved in a fight with knives in Margaret T. Hance Park. One of the victims reportedly flagged down police officers in the area.

ABC15 emergency responders saw several people being transported by ambulance from an area near the Burton Barr Central Library Heat Shelter/Recreation Center.

Four victims were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, three people were arrested.

The investigation is ongoing.
