O'Reilly high school student arrested after stabbing with classmate

Police have arrested a graduating student at O'Reilly Senior High School (SHS) who reportedly stabbed and killed a classmate.

The incident, which shocked the school community, occurred during a violent altercation on school grounds.

According to initial reports, the two students were involved in a heated argument that escalated into a physical confrontation.

The situation took a deadly turn when the suspect allegedly pulled out a sharp object and stabbed his colleague three times.

The victim was taken to LEKMA Hospital by fellow students, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

YEN.com.gh reported that in July, a BECE candidate was stabbed and killed while trying to separate two arguing lovers.

This incident occurred in the Atwima Kwanwoma district of the Ashanti Region.

In another incident, BECE candidates from Kanuwlou Basic School were involved in a road accident in North Tongu District.

GNA reported that they were accompanying their sister back to Volo after her visit when the accident occurred.
